MACHINE WORKING

Students will gain knowledge and experience of the health and safety aspects of using machines.
The most widely used machine is the fretsaw, this is used mostly to cut shapes for artistic purposes e.g. jigsaws, clocks, animation characters.
Other machines such as the drill and sanding belt overcome the need for nailing everything together and spending all day sanding.
